How and Why it all began

Students around the world are confronted today with a situation which is unique in the history of organized education: the global economy pressures young people to produce economic results, organize their lives and be successful even while they are still learning how to do so.

Under the leadership of Urs Wolf, a team developed the “Study with Success” course in 1992 in German.

Based on the positive impact in Switzerland they decided to translate the course into English, French, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, Amharic, Swahili, Bulgarian, Albanian, Malay, Nepalese and Italian to make it available at universities around the world.

In 2012 the course was adapted by Caroline Mathies to the particular situation of students in China.
